Lakeshore learning games have been known to bring enjoyment and engagement to students and classrooms for years! My own kids love them! I recently listened to a workshop where the teacher presenter shared that she started off her morning with a math game each morning to engage her students! What a great idea!
This collection of fourth grade math games will be used by students weekly as we practice and review math skills and dive into the critical thinking pieces required to be good mathematicians. Students will gain confidence in their mathematical abilities while enjoying a game together with other students in the classroom. Students will reflect on game strategies and mathematical strategies through an exit slip, after they play these games with their teams or classmates.
