A classroom rug will help foster that group environment and provide a cozy comfy spot for a child to listen and learn. Story time and circle time rugs are a great way to help children learn organizational skills, learn to follow directions, and regulate emotions. Not only will this classic decor piece serve as a meeting place in our classroom, but it also will help add a touch of flair for our home away from home! A classroom rug in the destination spot can serve as a great anchor. Students won’t question where to sit, or spread out very far because the rug becomes the destination and the edges of the rug serve as a defined space for them to sit.
