The curriculum at our school is incorporated around a new book each week. Unfortunately the books are not provided and it is up to us teachers to supply the books. Last year we used the books pre-recorded on YouTube. This method got the job done, but was not ideal. I was not able to do picture walks through the books with my students or turn to a page and ask questions. Having the physical book to read with help my students attention span and retention of the story. It will also allow me to reread certain parts for retention. These books will not only help my upcoming class but future classes as well.
