Due to Covid restrictions, my students spent last year reading alone, often from computer screens. The majority of my students are reading below 4th grade level, and many haven't yet fallen in love with books. This year, I want my students to learn to LOVE reading! This project will allow my students to fall in love with reading-- with partner books and cozy seating options to choose from! Students will read from individual copies of carefully selected, high-interest partnership books, and they'll be able to read on rugs or on beanbag seat cushions. What better way to fall in love with reading?
