If a child is comfortable and they have choice in where they sit, they are happy! Once the child is happy, comfortable, and feels safe, then the learning can begin! I hope to use the flexible seating to help us in every aspect of my classroom, including circle time, guided reading, stations, and even during restoration practices! I know that as an adult I don’t always want to sit and read and and write in a desk! I want to be comfortable and create! Kids are the same way! I’m so excited to give them that!
