I am requesting supplies to make take home reading and math bags so my students can practice and reinforce skills at home with their families. I have taught in elementary classrooms for almost 20 years prior to moving into an intervention role. I now see students who need extra support in specific areas for work in small groups. I love to be able to send reinforcement activities home for families to help support the learning as well and these supplies would definitely help fill that void. I do many activities based around the first steps of reading (phonics, sight words, fluency) and math (number concepts, addition/subtraction) so these activities and games that I send home are easy for families to play and interact with. Thank you!!
