As each grade level continues to explore their individual components of ʻāina, we look forward to collectively learning about the importance and impact of local and sustainable farming practices through culturally relevant and hands-on experiential learning opportunities that are grounded and steeped in ʻike kupuna. We will continue to care for and expand our school garden spaces; including individual classroom grow beds, aquaponic systems, a 1600 sq ft agroforest plot, and two banana circles. The requested supplies and materials, gloves, bags and fencing, will help create safe, meaningful, and fun experiential learning opportunities for our students.
