Students will use these materials to conduct some hands-on activities to learn about the how the earth was formed and why earthquakes happen. They will learn how building codes and materials are used to make our building safer. Their understanding of erosion will increase as they learn how to shape our landscapes to minimize erosion and to control the impact development has on the land. They will also learn to identify rocks, minerals, and soil content to help learn how these things come together to support life and support growth.

About my class
