These books will help build our classroom library to include a larger variety of books that students can relate to even at their age. Reading is one of the most enjoyed activities in my classroom by my students, and myself! We read books together, we read independently, and we read with partners and small groups. Without a school library, my students are limited to the books I have in my classroom and with these books my students will be introduced to content that they are both interested in and can relate to at their level. I anticipate using these books as a way to have great conversations with growing minds and engage their learning and vocabulary.
