Make a donation Ms. Valencia can use on her next classroom project.
Students with Autism learn best when they can engage all their senses. Having proper materials for them to use is absolutely essential to their learning. Students will be able to hypothesize and self-correct through hands-on experiences. These materials will enhance my students experiences with science. So, instead of just reading about them from their books, they can actually conduct them.
They will conduct experiments such as Floating soda, Moving pepper and Ocean in a bottle. Through these donations such as the clear bins, my students will be able to conduct experiments such as sinking bottle vs. floating bottle. They will use the baster and the food coloring to conduct experiments such as Moving Water. Another experiment they can conduct with the jars from this donation will be the Guess What it is experiment. The magnets from this donation will be used to conduct the Magnet Pick-up experiment. The incline plane will be used by students when they see which classroom items will roll and which ones do not. These donations will give my students the hands-on learning experiences they need to see science come alive!
