My sweet love bugs are learning how to be more and more independent in their daily routine. Because they are so little and school is so new to them, school tasks can be a huge challenge. Circle time in particular is a completely new task for them, and typically provides a large amount of teacher support. Cube chairs allow my students to be independent throughout part of their school day, especially circle time. The chairs are also portable and can be moved very easily to different parts of the classroom to give students the support they need throughout the test of their day.
Independence is our main goal, and cube chairs help my students reach this!
My students are also encouraged to learn through trying and some of our favorite projects are our STEM projects. The stand up magnetic design center and the engineer-a-coaster activity will allow my students to explore and create their own ramps for the wheels to slide down. This will help us expand on their STEM skills and it will help them design their own ideas and watch them come to life.
We love to be creative and have fun while learning, all while trying things on our own. All items, the cube chairs, the magnetic design center, and the engineer-a-coaster activity allow for just that.
