Our High School is located on the most northern point of the beautiful island of Oahu. Our Polynesian students make up our academic, artistic, and athletic population. Our Vision is “Learning today for lifelong success in College, Career, and Community”. My goal is to help facilitate learning by providing rigorous and relevant activities to motivate them to want to pursue post secondary education in science.
With the popularity of crime scene investigation television shows, students are eager to perform actual forensic laboratory skills in our Biology and Forensic Science classes. A mock crime scene is set up and students have to process evidence from all of the crime lab units. As a summative assessment, forensic science teams have to present an entertaining, yet plausible story on what they believe happened.
Being able to use the essential equipment, supplies, and technology are necessary to conduct their science investigations.
