With these materials, students will be able to create their own art and haiku showing aspects of the Japanese culture as well as their own heritages and cultures they hold. The paint, chiogami, cardstock and contact paper will be for them to use to create their original and personal art pieces and haiku.
First, students will create their original and personal art piece and haiku and digitalize it. In addition, there will be an in person gallery walk utilizing the blue tape and easels so other students and community members can see the personal art pieces and haiku students created.
