I use plastic folders and paperclips to send student work home, it helps students keep all their work organized and dry! The envelopes are for sending progress reports home while respecting families privacy.
As we count the days we've been in school, I use rubber bands to show 10's and 1's. Then students can draw and write in the kindergarten journals. We do lots of numeral and letter writing practice before they start writing words, so at the beginning of the year, students are mostly drawing and dictating their stories.
The laptop charging station is a much needed item this year so students can quickly get out and put away their laptops in an organized manner, while making sure all the laptops get plugged in!
