The majority of students in our classroom seek out significant sensory input. Items on this list are to let students who have limited ability to communicate find ways to explore the world around them through fidget toys, water beads, magnets, and a host of other things!
Items like the 鈥減ea-pod鈥 are for crashing motions or just feeling the weight of the sides surrounding them like a cocoon that feels safe! Also, the hands-on things and motion floor tiles improve coordination and focus! Through that exploration, it opens doors for beginning language and communication!
