Our classroom is filled with smiles, collaboration, thinking outside the box, academic rigor, and perseverance through successes and failure as a classroom family. We are a Title I school with more than 50% of our population on free or reduced-price lunch and celebrate the diverse backgrounds and languages (sign language included for our deaf and hard of hearing students) that our learners share with us and each other on a daily basis. Our pre-K learning disabled class, K-1 students with autism class, and K-6 general education classrooms with GATE identified students encourages an environment where students with varying abilities learn to study, play, and interact with one another. It's quite a unique learning environment, but it's also what makes our school a special place to mold young minds.
