It’s my wish to give my students seating options that empower them to take charge of their learning. Many of my students have not learned to love reading or even love school for that matter. Many of my students come from impossible situations at home, where they feel helpless. I want them to feel like they have some control over what happens during their school day. Perhaps it is small, to choose where and how to sit, but I pray it is a path to finding a love of learning.
