Speech therapy encompasses many things that help students to be successful inside and outside of school. Depending on a student's specific needs, they will work on the ability to answer questions, use new vocabulary, make inferences about new topics, learn how to produce and use speech sounds that are difficult for them, and so much more. All of these skills will be used to successfully communicate inside and outside of the classroom. Part of teaching these skills involves using a variety of activities to simulate using these skills in multiple contexts and to keep the information engaging. These school supplies will ensure that my students will have access to tools to keep them engaged in speech and language therapy activities without worrying about sharing germs with other students in both of my schools.
