The science books that I have included in this project will be a part of the students learning this school year. It will provide a critical need for introducing these scientific concepts to students before we begin diving into the topics during our class lessons. The background that these books can build on the different scientific subjects is invaluable to their success in learning.
Not only will the books be used in the classroom, but they can also be taken home and include the students' families in our learning. Reaching beyond the classroom and including families will help solidify concepts with the students as they will engage in discussion of the different science topics outside of the classroom. This, in turn, will result in a better base of information in which to grow upon during the class lessons.
It is all for the students learn more about the world around them and be confident in the knowledge they are learning. The books for this project will set the stage for a successful science year in my class!
