My students really need hands on sensory activities like kinetic sand and sensory paint to practice writing their names. This will encourage fun and creativity while learning. The comfy seat cushions, and puzzle pieces can be used in reading and writing corners and centers to add choice to their learning. The playdoh can be used to practice forming letters and numbers that will translate to writing when they are ready. The magnetic letters and puzzles will foster exploration with letters and numbers so my students can get used to the shapes of each letter. By adding these wonderful items to my classroom my students will love learning and coming to school each day and even when challenges arise they will be able to persevere knowing they are cared for and supported every step of the way!
