Reading is one of the most important things a child can learn to do. Many students struggle with their confidence in reading, especially when they are below grade level. My students have been impacted tremendously by the COVID19 pandemic.
Small group instruction is the most effective way to teach reading.
In order for my students to gain their confidence in reading, they need to be able to read books on their reading level. These books would be used daily in the classroom in a small group with me. The books would target specific skills students need to work on to become better readers.
