My students love 'hands on' activities! The materials I am requesting will be utilized to develop and build skills in problem solving, effective communication, and building community in an engaging way in all content areas. Each resource listed will be integrated in various learning experiences and assessed for understanding. The resources will be used during Morning Meeting activities where students will be asked to create something and explain it to a partner or class. It will also be used it in math when learning perimeter and volume to build structures with various dimensions. STEM projects will benefit from the resources as all the listed items can be used to create an object.
The items listed will be made into individual kits for each student to participate in these engaging activities in a safe and healthy way.
