I believe the ability to read transforms lives and changes outcomes for many of our children.
Some of last year's kindergartners never had the opportunity of a real classroom experience, only online learning. I am beyond thrilled to welcome them to our classroom for the 2021-2022 school year.
No two children are the same, and I hope to create a classroom library with a vast variety of literature so they have the CHOICE to read what is interesting for them. The books I'm requesting are favorites/classics from our childhood and books sure to be classics from their childhood. Although technology is our future, there is no substitute for hand-held, printed on paper literacy.
This project will help enhance and enrich their experience with the printed word.
