These materials will be so helpful for transitioning back to learning in person. Students will be able to use their notebooks for drawing projects and the brass fasteners to make interactive pieces in their journals.
All of these resources will fill in the pukas (holes) in the things that we need for this year! These supplies will also make a big difference in preparing to teach ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi (Hawaiian Language) vocabulary and pili helu (math). The resources that I selected have minimal English on them so that I can translate them easier and use the stickers that are included in the budget to cover up the English. This will help the resources align with the Kaiapuni (Hawaiian Immersion) mission of an immersive learning experience.
