The materials in this project will help me bring my vision of a comfortable and inspiring classroom library to life. My 1st grade students had a difficult year with COVID-19, and long for a cozy and creative nook to enhance their reading skills. I will use the black book baskets to organize the books for them by their level. The flexible seating options will be a long-awaited comfortable touch for students to be able to feel safe and cozy while they put their hearts and souls into reading. The gift cards for Teachers Pay Teachers will allow me to purchase supplementary materials for our class phonics programs (Orton Gillingham Phonics and Secret Stories.) All of these factors will help lead to reading success.
