I love history! However, just because I like the subject, does it necessarily mean that my students will show the same appreciation for the subject. This is where my passion about DBQ's (Document Based Questions) comes into play. History for today's kids, meaning tomorrow's leaders, is all about bringing history to life and making it relevant to their daily lives. DBQ's allow for students to dive deeper into the past by focusing on finding the answer to a question that will allow for many critical skills to be learned, sharpened, or even master.
