Research shows that young children learn in play-based learning environments that foster social interactions. This is especially important for special needs students to help them with communication/language, literacy, social-emotional skills, and classroom skills. The items selected are to help build engaging and fun learning centers where children can use hands-on materials and toys such as the light table, cars, numbers, and alphabet bots. The incubator and lamp will be used in the lesson on the life cycle. All the students in the inclusion setting will benefit from these educational learning centers!
