These students are young and developing skills such as math and reading in school and some haven't had a lot of readings that they are interested in and that they can visualize themselves in. My goal is to use comics and manga in both The Learning Center and The Anime Club (only on Fridays). I hope to also add in more social emotional items such as aromatherapy pillows, plushies, etc. that will help support mindfulness and self regulation. Our students deserve the world and I appreciate you all so much for helping us get the a little bit more of it.

About my class
