The special education department is the most underfunded department in schools. These kids are NOT lost causes and they deserve an amazing classroom, new books that are actually on their level and align with their interests, and materials that aren't hand-me-downs.
Our kids are all in different grades and even some of the kids in the same grade can be at varying academic levels. The space-themed rug and supplies are going to be used to make sure they each have new materials that suit their level. We want our kids to learn of course. But we also want our lessons and materials to be engaging and fun.
