I have 30 to 35 students in each geometry class. I like to use hands-on activities to make the learning more meaningful. The scissors will be used for various projects throughout the school year.
Some of the projects the scissors will be used for include tessellations, rotations, and dilations. Rather than just explaining what the concepts are, I want my students to create projects with their own hands using the concepts they learn in class.
When students look back on my class I want them to remember the engaging activities that they participated in.
