Hi! This is technically my second year teaching (my first one was spent teaching virtually) and I am working on getting my students engaged in reading. During the pandemic, many of my students told me that they missed going to the library to read books. However, some of them mentioned that they wished our library had more modern-day books (aka not books from the 1980s).
They also said that they were tired of reading books that did not reflect them. I would be so grateful if you could help me out and get some newer and more diverse books in my classroom!
