We know students are harder on themselves when they do not see any learning progress within the second week of school. I want to create a weekly experience for my students to see growth in what they have learned from week to week. As students build their reading and math skills, they will be able to see the growth they have made while playing bingo.
This learning game will involve the sight words that students have learned to identify and spell as well as math equations learned throughout the week. This will boost student's self-confidence in themselves as well as give me an informal assessment on how well my students are grasping the concepts being taught to them. While participating in this learning experience they will be able to remain in motion while utilizing the bouncy chairs at their desk.
