Hi everyone!
It will be my first year teaching as a special education teacher this Fall. Because it is my first year, I need a lot of help setting up my first classroom to provide my students with all the resources they need to succeed. A lot of my students are unable to provide their own supplies and I want to provide them will all the resources necessary in order for them to stay organized and achieve their academic goals.
Some of the supplies include storage and basic materials such as pencils, pens, folders, and highlighters so that students can focus on learning and mastering their content. In addition, I requested supplies to help students with different learner variability needs to still have access to the material. For example, the funds will supply fidget toys to accommodate students who have ADHD.
This will also be my students' first time back since virtual learning and all of the items I requested will help make their experience back in the classroom a lot more brighter.
