Our school had a schoolwide coffee shop that was established a few years ago and then the pandemic hit. It was a great place for staff and students to convene and interact with one another. We see this as a way to keep school culture strong, increase school spirit, and an incentive to come to school.
Our students work hard day in and day out and deserve a spot to reward themselves and start their day off in a positive way. The students that work the coffee shop will learn business skills and traits that they can use to carry on with them upon graduation from Milan High School.
