The materials for this project are just basic materials needed to start out the school year. Coming from a poverty stricken area so many of our students don’t have the funds for pencil and paper at the beginning of the school year. The same goes for snack money, that is why I have requested for a few snacks to keep in the classroom. This will ensure that all students will have snacks available even if they can not afford to bring snack money. This will also allow me to send basic things like pencils home so these students will be able to do homework and such.
