My students and I have so many intuitive projects lined up as extension or enrichment activities with the use of a Cricut Maker machine and 3D handheld printer but we do not have the tools to complete the projects. I love having my students do hands-on projects to reinforce specifically science and mathematics learned in class and at home. I wanted to bridge both math and engineering with my students so that I can sustain their love of STEM topics (science, technology, engineering, and math). STEM projects are definitely a great way for them to get truly hands-on experience with understanding some of so many concepts and prepare them for real-life experiences. Using the Cricut Maker and the 3-D handheld printer I can provide a creative environment that inspires, supports, and empowers students to believe in themselves, achieve personal goals, and succeed socially, emotionally, and academically. One thing all my students need is a positive and inspiring place to learn. If given the chance to be funded in acquiring these learning tools it will create a successful learning environment for a huge variety of projects and investigations to be creative for the possibilities here are almost endless.
