I am a high school dance teacher and dance team coach. My students are active all year as they support other programs, compete, and put on various productions. The beauty of this program is it is an outlet and safe space for many students. Additionally, we keep them actively busy which allows them to be more academically successful and stay out of trouble. We are a brand new school officially opening in two weeks. The items on the list will be beneficial to helping with the room, costumes, props, storage, etc. We work with many costumes and props so these items are key to our success. The items we are requesting benefit us in the following ways: Shilouette 4 Cameo Starter- We work with various projects using this including, but not limited to, props for competition and events, shirts, etc. Drill Driver- We are always putting things together and assembling items. This includes props, stands, hanging things on walls, etc. This is a regular rotation in our program. Steamer- We are building our costume and uniform closet, but always need to steam items for performances. Caribiner Clips- Each member will have 40 ounce water jugs that they clip to their backpacks for various events including, but not limited to football and basketball games, competitions, etc. Magazine Holder/Rack- This will be used to keep costume books in our locker room or storage closet for students to view.
