Our school places emphasis on life long learning.
We like to invest in classroom items that can translate into the students future daily life. This set of tools will be part of a school maker space where students are able to engage in hands on creation.
Students will be able to put together sets for plays, simple furniture items like pic-nic-tables, upcycle daily objects into newly designed STEM projects, etc.
Learning to use battery powered, on-site portable small scale power tools that can be packaged in their own tote will support life-long learning because these are items that don't require a specialty space, these are tools that can part of everyday life.
