I am the first ever AVID elementary teacher in my district. This means I will be teaching Advancement Via Individual Determination. My job is to encourage students to reach their highest potential, and we're going to do that through lots of collaboration. These stylish and comfortable chairs are what I hope to use to create a more grown-up and comfortable environment than the regular classroom as I plan to spend lots of time collaborating and connecting with my students while teaching them that anything they can dream up is possible if they will put forth their best effort.

About my class
