I would love for the students to enter a comfortable, non-traditional environment with flexible seating and soft lighting to help alleviate some of their apprehension.
I have created a hands-on curriculum where the students will be learning and practicing many of the skills they are lacking though activities. I would like to have all of the supplies I need available.
I would like to have rhythm sticks for the students to tap while saying multiples and multiplication facts. Bubble poppers will allow students to kinesthetically create visual arrays so they can see how and why math works! Expo markers and erasers will allow students an easy non threatening way to practice solving problems.
Composition books, tape, rulers, pens, pencils will be used to make interactive notebooks!
