These supplies, such as pencils, erasers, markers, and glue, will help the students be able to complete their work as well as help in comprehension skills that need building. Anchor charts bring the lesson to life as we are learning. The manipulatives and number lines will help them understand addition and subtraction. The copy paper will create the lesson for them to have in front of them and complete to show what they know. The students are eager to learn and with the right supplies, they can get the task done! The prizes show hard work pays off and we all know hard work can makes us hungry so they will need snacks! Learning is hard enough sometimes and when students do not have the materials they need to complete their lesson, frustration pops up making them want to give up. I tell my students giving up on yourself is never an option. I want them to have what they need to do what they need to so they know they can be who they want to be, now and later in life.
