When educating students, some things that come to mind are relationships, school supplies, technology, the “teacher toolbox”. But often times we don’t think of the things that greatly affect our students- clean water, clean food, clean air. Indoor air can be up to 100X more polluted than outdoor air, according to the EPA. Clean air is something that you can help make attainable in my classroom. A HEPA filter can theoretically remove at least 99.97% of dust, pollen, mold, bacteria, and any airborne particles. This can help with allergies, asthma, and the many sicknesses that our students are exposed to!
