These tuners work wonderfully because they use vibration to determine if the pitch is in tune. This means that they can be used in a full orchestral environment without being affected by the surrounding sounds. This will help students be able to better tune in class individually. In addition, I will also use them for individual pitch assessment in passages of music that are difficult. When a section is struggling to find the correct pitch, match pitch, or stay in key these tuners will be exceedingly helpful. These tuners present the opportunity to modernize the orchestra classroom. These tuners offer a huge educational opportunity.
