These materials with help students improve upon literacy and language development. We will use the book kits and other various materials to engage in shared reading, ask and answer WH questions, work on speech sounds, discuss story grammar elements such as setting, problem, characters, plot, and feelings. For some students, this will become one of the first experiences they have enjoying reading and literacy. I like to make literacy activities interactive and exciting for my students. I want them to feel like they are in the action rather than just reading about it.
