Our inclusive school garden is a collaboration between our general education and moderate/severe education classes. We will use these garden beds to replace our old broken ones.
Planting and nurturing things to grow is a life skill that is invaluable to our youth. Most of our students at our school have never grown a plant in their lives. Here they have an opportunity to plant some fruit and vegetables. The best part at the end is when we harvest our crops. We have a big lunch in the Special Education Rooms and invite everyone to try some of our healthy homegrown food!
