The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go and how it will benefit my students. We just need your help in getting everything through our classroom door! The large carpet will be used in the literacy area. This will allow a comfy space for students to foster a love for reading and build on their literacy skills. The book bins will also be in this area, giving the books a place to call home, rather than sitting in a closet. The flexible seating options will be placed in the Integrated Studies area. This will allow for students to be able to sit in different ways while exploring science and social studies activities. In this area as well, will go the various STEM activities. I want my students to be able to explore math and science through the use of play, by building and investigating materials that they wouldn't typically use at home.
With the help of YOU! My students will be entering into a classroom filled with a variety of materials that will help them succeed in their education journey. This is just the beginning of their educational career. I want to make sure they are given a great start no matter the circumstance they may come from.
