Our listening station is a comfy place in our classroom where my students are able to enjoy a book independently. After listening to the story, my students will respond in their journals. This will help them grow as readers and writers! I would love to increase the number of books and CDs in our listening station so that my students would have a variety of stories to choose from. These tools will help my students learn new words as well as with reading comprehension which are both so important for developing their reading skills.
