I teach in a Title I school, where all of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. As a new teacher, funds are only to be applied to consumable school supplies. My students are coming to school ready to learn and excited to be here. With your help, we can foster an environment where students will be motivated and become successful learners.
The storage carts will be used daily in class as students will use it to keep their textbooks, notebooks, and other materials organized and at hand. It would encourage students to be responsible and keep track of their materials in their community storage. The classroom organization tools will help with the efficiency of managing all their textbooks, supplies that are for community use, and having everything readily available.
The snack drawer will be available for students who are not able to bring a snack and are in need of one, or those that come hungry to school. Having this essential need met will allow them to focus on learning.
