My project is to buy class sets of books for my students so that every student can get a book. These books are modern books about contemporary issues. This school is in a Title I district where budgets are tight and we simply cannot afford to buy 5 new class sets of books. Each book will get 1 class set each and the students will share with different periods. My goal with these texts and this class is to help educate the students in being more self and globally aware individuals. I also want them to become passionate about the world around them.
