My students have many challenges which makes learning difficult. With a fun project like the Worm Farm they will be engaged and eager to learn about different ways we can recycle. They will learn how the farm is built, how to feed it, about bacteria and fungus, and their will be reading, writing and a little bit of math. This is also a project that I could use with Kinder through 6th grade since we are all learning about our planet.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. Students will actively participate and take pride in growing and taking care of the Worm Farm. And is the process learn about recycling, reading and writing.
